ગુજરાત સરકારે જમીન નોંધણી આવેદન પત્રોની આપ-લે કરવા માટે ઈ-ધરા પ્રોજેક્ટ ની શરૂઆત કરી છે. વિદ્યાર્થીઓ જુદા-જુદા અભ્યાસક્રમોમાં જોડાઇ ને અભ્યાસ કરી શકે છે . સ્પર્ધાત્મક પરીક્ષાઓની તૈયારી કરી શકે છે તેમજ પોતાના પરિણામો પણ ઘરે બેઠા જાણી શકે છે.

સરકારી કચેરીઓ કે જે સામાન્ય રીતે ધૂળ ખાતી ફાઈલોના ભંગાર ગૃહ તરીકે વધુ વ્યાખ્યાયિત કરી શકાય એ દ્રશ્યો હવે ભૂતકાળ બનશે. કારણકે પેપરલેસ કાર્યોથી આ કાગળિયા ફાઇલોની કોઈ જરૂર નહીં પડે વૃક્ષો ને કાપવાની જરૂર પણ નહીં પડે અને પર્યાવરણ સુરક્ષા પણ મજબૂત બનશે.

ભારતમાં સાક્ષરતા ટકાવારી અલાર્મિંગ છે. સમગ્ર વિશ્વમાં ઇ-ગવર્નન્સ તરફ આગળ વધી રહી છે, પરંતુ ભારત હજુ પણ સાક્ષરતા વિભાગ માં ઓછી છે. લોકો શિક્ષિત અને ઈ-સાક્ષર ઇ-ગવર્નન્સ ફૂલવું ફાલવું માટે કરવામાં કરવાની જરૂર છે. ખૂબ થોડા ઈ-સાક્ષર લોકો ભારતમાં છે ખૂબ જ ઓછી છે. સરકાર, ઈ-ગવર્નન્સ માટે પ્રચાર ઇ-ગવર્નન્સ તરફ લોકોની જાગૃતિ વધારવા માટે જરૂર છે. તે લોકો ઇ-ગવર્નન્સ સાથે આરામદાયક લાગે છે કરી શકો છો જો સરકાર માત્ર જાઓ ઓનલાઇન માટે પ્રોત્સાહિત કરી શકો છો.
