e-Governance is to ease government functioning in order to create Simple, Accountable, Responsive and Transparent governance. The Government of Gujarat (GoG) has come a long way in implementation of the various e-Governance initiatives in the state, in order to adopt the best practices and key reforms.

The evolution of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) has brought a whole new paradigm for governance by which we are heading towards ease of living through e-Governance.

The goals of e-Governance are:
a. Better service delivery to citizens
b. Ushering in transparency and accountability
c. Empowering people through information
d. Improved efficiency within Governments
e. Improve interface between business and industry

The need of the hour is to think on how to make the life of our citizens better and easier by using new-age technologies. If you have any suggestion or new idea regarding this then share it here.

Just look back a few years back when we were from pillar to post just for small works like withdrawal of money, deposition of bills etc and various government work and now do all sitting at home

Digital India week was recently held in Gandhinagar and Hon,ble Pradhan Sewak addressed and inaugurated the same and feel proud to be invited for the same.E governance has revolutionized people life and brought ease of living
