Shravanotsav@Vadnagar Reel Competition

The Shravanotsav@Vadnagar Reel Competition is an initiative of the Government of Gujarat, to encourage citizens, especially youth, to creatively showcase the rich cultural heritage, spiritual significance, tourism potential, folk traditions, and vibrant celebrations of Shravanotsav at Vadnagar through short video reels.
Participants are invited to create original reels highlighting various aspects of Shravanotsav and submit them through the MyGov Portal. The competition aims to promote public participation, digital engagement, and awareness about Gujarat's cultural legacy.

• Contest Duration: 06 August 2026 to 12 August 2026.
• Winners will be announced based on the evaluation by the designated committee.

Technical Parameters
1. Resolution: Minimum 720p
2. Duration: 30 Second to 60 Second
3. Language: Gujarati, Hindi Or English
(Subtitles are mandatory if the spoken language is a regional language other than the submission language.)
4. Originality: Reels must be originally shot by the participant. AI-generated content, or copyrighted material is not permitted.

Terms and Conditions
1. Submissions shall be made only through the MyGov Gujarat Portal (https://gujarat.mygov.in/).
2. Participants must register on the portal with updated profile details (Name, Mobile Number and E-mail ID).
3. Entries submitted through any means other than the portal will not be considered. Additionally, entries received after the submission deadline will not be accepted.
4. Each participant may submit one entry.
5. The submitted reel must be original and free from copyright infringement. Any violation shall result in disqualification.
6. The reel shall not contain any watermark, logo, signature or any identifying mark.
7. Entries containing objectionable, offensive, defamatory or inappropriate content shall be rejected.
8. Content generated through AI shall be rejected.
9. Participants shall retain due credit for their work; however, the copyright of the winning entries shall vest with the Government of Gujarat.
10. The Commissionerate of Information and MyGov Gujarat reserve the right to modify the contest, evaluation criteria or terms and conditions, or to cancel the competition without prior notice.
11. Participants shall ensure compliance with all applicable laws, community guidelines, privacy norms and cultural sensitivities.
12. The decision of the Evaluation Committee shall be final and binding on all participants.
13. Incomplete or non-compliant entries shall be liable for rejection.
14. All participants are encouraged to submit their entries well before the deadline to ensure a smooth submission process and avoid any last-minute inconvenience.
